This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and ticket transfers work for Build India Vision tickets bought on this website. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancellation by the attendee
- Up to 7 days before the edition starts: you can cancel your order and receive a refund of the ticket price paid, including GST. Convenience fees, if any, are non-refundable.
- Less than 7 days before the edition, or after it starts: tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer them to a colleague (see section 3).
- Partial cancellations are allowed — you can cancel individual tickets from a multi-ticket order.
- No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
2. Cancellation or postponement by us
- If an edition is cancelled, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, including fees, without needing to ask.
- If an edition is postponed or moved to another venue, your ticket stays valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a full refund within 7 days of our announcement.
3. Ticket transfers
You can transfer a ticket to another person free of charge up to 24 hours before the edition starts by emailing us your order number and the new attendee’s name, email and phone. We will issue a fresh ticket and the old QR code will stop working.
4. How to request a cancellation
Email registration@foaidindia.in from the email address used for booking, with your order number (for example BIV-100123) and the tickets you want to cancel. We confirm every request by email.
5. Refund timelines
- Approved refunds are initiated within 7 working days of approval.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Banks usually take 5–7 working days to credit the amount; UPI refunds are often faster.
- You will receive an email when the refund is initiated. Refunds are not made in cash or to a different account.
6. Failed or duplicate payments
If money was debited but you did not receive a confirmation, or you were charged twice, write to us with the payment reference. Unconfirmed payments are automatically refunded to the source account by the payment gateway.
